Angela Thirkell's Books

If You are an Angela Thirkell Reader, You Will Also Love .....

We recently polled Angela Thirkell aficionados on their favorite authors. Given a place in "The Hall of Fame" were Jane Austen and Anthony Trollope. Many people wrote that they couldn't vote for anyone other than these two, and voted for them anyhow. We placed them at the top of the list. We knew they would get most of the votes. But the response was interesting. There were almost as many favorites as readers. And although we have a separate category for mysteries, some crept in under favorites. We tried to select the most representative link for each author. Societies for that author were selected where they were available; otherwise, sites with other links were the choice. They are in order by number of votes, and alphabetical order in case of a tie. Here they are!
