SOURCES - ANGELA THIRKELL BOOKS

New book dealers, second-hand vendors, and Internet booksellers are all good sources for various editions of Angela Thirkell books. Books are also directly available from Moyer Bell (call toll free 888-789-1945,or e-mail britt_moyerbell@yahoo.com). Most bookstores carry or will order the Moyer Bell books for you. Many public libraries have kept the old hard-backs in the original American editions. If your main library does not carry them, ask if your regional library system can accomodate your request. Of course, Hamish Hamilton was Angela Thirkell's long-time UK publisher; these first edition books are very difficult to find in British second-hand bookstores, as our British members can attest. Several Angela Thirkell Society members are booksellers, available to help readers with special requests.
